And the water park? We went on the slides so many times I lost count. My daughter was in her element all day and honestly so were we. The outdoor pool was a fun change of pace too and the lobby activities kept things interesting beyond just the water.
One honest note — the dining options were overpriced for the quality and portion sizes. I’d love to see healthier, more affordable choices for families. We made it work but it’s worth knowing before you go so you can plan accordingly.

Naples Grande Beach Resort — Naples, Florida

Naples Grande surprised me in the best way.
For $109 a night with no resort fee the value was exceptional. But what really stood out was everything included in the stay. A complimentary tram ride down to the beach, beach towels waiting for you, luxury chaise lounges and a free one hour paddleboard or kayak rental. These are the kinds of extras that usually cost extra everywhere else.
The pool has a water slide which my daughter loved. But what genuinely took my breath away was the water at the beach. Naples Grande’s beach had the most crystal clear, clean water I had ever seen in Florida. I took so many photos and clips because I just couldn’t believe it.
We brought our own food for most meals which saved us significantly and went out to dinner one evening at a local restaurant. The one thing I’d mention is that there’s no complimentary breakfast so plan to either bring your own or budget for dining on site.

Margaritaville Beach Resort — Fort Myers, Florida

Margaritaville Fort Myers had a vibe all its own — fun, tropical and laid back in the best way.
Live music on the patio, a DJ at the pool, poolside activities and multiple dining options made it feel like a mini vacation destination within itself. There was always something happening and the energy was upbeat without feeling overwhelming.
The beach nearby was the perfect contrast; calm, relaxing and a beautiful escape when you wanted to step away from the pool scene.
One thing to know going in is that the pool is open to the public, so it did get crowded at certain points. On those moments we simply headed to the beach which was just steps away and honestly even better.
For $109 a night with no resort fee and $10 parking this was genuinely great value for everything included.
